In 2010, she won the title of the most popular Beautician in Colombo at the Nawaliya Kumarika Awards. Then in 2011, she was recognized as one of the Top Ten Beauticians at the Nawaliya Kumari Awards. Besides dressing up brides and showcasing them at events and on TV, Bernie's known for her skills.
